Passengers have less control about their seat and foremost how they feel
sitting there than a decades ago. A business traveller may just want a relaxing trip - but then,
there is a toddler behind him. DDynaBoard controls such situations.

PREFERENCE

At booking the passenger can either pick a specific seat or seat-properties.
Seat-properties describe the why instead of the where. Of cource the why can also refere
to a location, like the fast-deboard property.

GROUPS

Placing groups is like playing Tetris - and eventually it's Game-Over.
DDynaBoard is able to arrange groups much more efficiently.

How does DDynaBoard work?

JUST-IN-TIME SEAT ALLOCATION

Passengers get their seat when they go through the gate. This enables DDynaBoard to optimise the order and arrangement of seat assignments just-in-time. An algorithm evaluates possible seats and chooses the best one.

FINDING THE RIGHT SEAT

Finding a suitable seat for a passenger is not an easy task. The seat must not only fit to the current passenger's wishes, but must also not disturb the ability to find a fitting seat for all other passengers and groups. DDynaBoard calculates all possible outcomes and choses the best one: like playing chess but always knowing the next move of the opponent.

PASSENGERS BOARD IN A RANDOM ORDER

When boarding starts, passengers start queuing. There are no instructions or rules to follow. Sequence does not matter. They show their boarding pass to the gate agent and get their suitable seat.

Performance

TIMESAVING

Boarding an A320 with 180 passengers takes about 17 minutes today. DDynaBoard does that job in 11 minutes. Double aisle or multiple entrance planes can be handled as well.

VARIABILITY

Variability is reduced, which means you can reduce safety margins between flights. Boarding becomes predictable.

STURDINESS

Since passengers must not follow instructions, they can not disturb the boarding process.
