At booking the passenger can either pick a specific seat or

How does DDynaBoard work?

Passengers get their seat when they go through the gate.
This enables DDynaBoard to optimise the order and
arrangement of seat assignments just-in-time. An algorithm
evaluates possible seats and chooses the best one.

When boarding starts, passengers start queuing. There are no
instructions or rules to follow. Sequence does not matter. They
show their boarding pass to the gate agent and get their suitable

Boarding an A320 with 180 passengers takes about 17 minutes
today. DDynaBoard does that job in 11 minutes. Double aisle
or multiple entrance planes can be handled as well.
Variability is reduced, which means you can reduce safety
margins between flights. Boarding becomes predictable.
Since passengers must not follow instructions, they can not
disturb the boarding process.
